The 2022 postseason kicks off with a series of matches to mark an exciting year in the sport. The action will begin on his Dec. 16 and continue through the College Football Playoffs National Championship on Monday, Jan. 9, which will determine the winner of the 2022 season’s National Title.
Friday’s bowl action will feature five games, including Maryland vs. NC State Dukes Mayo Bowl No. 23 at 2:00 p.m. ET on CBS’ Sun Bowl, followed by Pitt vs. UCLA No. 18.
The Gator Bowl, where No. 19 South Carolina faces No. 21 Notre Dame, is another solid matchup.
After Ohio takes on Wyoming in the Arizona Bowl, the day’s bowl action ends with the first New Year’s Six Bowl of the season when No. 6 Tennessee faces No. 7 Clemson in the Orange Bowl.
The college football playoff semifinals aren’t until Saturday, but in the meantime, there are plenty of exciting bowl games to keep us entertained.
