A.J. Dillon injury update: Packers RB leaves ‘Monday Night Football’ game vs. Rams with possible concussion

AJ Dillon wasn’t putting up big yards against the Rams on Monday, but he was putting up some tough yards. The running back had 11 carries for 36 yards and two touchdowns in what looked like a solid game for the Packers in the third quarter.

But in the third quarter, Dillon was upset by hits by Jalen Ramsey and Bobby Wagner, knocking him out of the game and giving Aaron Jones a chance to return to Green Bay.

The Packers later confirmed that Dillon had been evaluated for concussion.

Dillon’s return after injury was questionable, as was the possibility of a concussion. The Packers are likely content to rely on Jones for the time being, but Dillon has become a touchdown machine in recent weeks. But until Dillon’s head is cleared, it will be out of their hands.

Sporting News will update this article as more information becomes available.
