Alabama Football finished the 2022 regular season with a 10-2 record, missing a game in the SEC Championship and finishing one place below the top four in the final College Football Playoff rankings. This is his second time the Crimson Tide has failed to qualify since the start of the playoffs in 2014.
The team does not compete for a national championship, but the program does participate in one of the most important and historic bowl games, the New Orleans Sugar Bowl.
Nick Saban and Alabama will face the Big 12 Champions in the Kansas Wildcats.
The game will take place on New Year’s Eve, but the Crimson Tide team has already started preparations on site.
