Chris Clarke appointed Sri Lanka Cricket lead physiotherapist







Sri Lanka Cricket has announced the appointment of Chris Clark Irons as the national team’s Chief Physical Therapist from 1 January 2023.

Chris holds an honors degree in physiotherapy from the University of East London and a master’s degree in advanced physiotherapy from King’s College, London and is Chief of Science and Medicine and Principal of Essex County Cricket Club. I was also a physical therapist. England, before joining Sri Lanka cricket.

He also played for England’s men’s team during the ODI Tour of Australia and also worked as a physiotherapist for the ECB’s Senior Men’s Pace Programme.

His first official tour with the Sri Lanka national team will be Sri Lanka Tour of India 2022–2023.

Chris has a two-year contract with Sri Lanka Cricket. (Colombo Gazette)
