Since moving to Oregon in the fall of 2016, Alex Forsythe We’ve seen the program go through three coaching changes, winning its second Pac-12 title amid the global pandemic.

“Honestly, North Carolina had a similar end to the season. If you look closely, they both ended the season losing to their rivals,” Forsythe said. “We both have a bad taste in our mouths and we’re trying to get rid of that bad taste. This win leads into 2023 for whoever wins this game.”
noteworthy: Receiver coach Junior Adams and tight end coach Drew Mellinger are overseeing Holiday Bowl preparations on the offensive side of the ball following the departure of Kenny Dillingham. …Newly hired offensive coordinator Willstein was in Friday practice but didn’t step up to leadership of the unit until after his bowl game. …the ducks will practice until Monday and reunite for practice later next week before taking a short break to spend with their families.
