Georgia football offers 3-star LB Joseph Phillips

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to a class of 2024 linebacker recruit Joseph Phillips. Georgia is one of the top schools in the country to recruit linebacker talent. The Bulldogs do an excellent job of developing linebackers and placing them in positions of choice in the NFL Draft.

Who is Joseph Phillips? Phillips ranks as his three-star recruit. He plays high school football and basketball at Booker T. Washington High School in Tuskegee, Alabama.

The 6-foot-3-inch, 225-pound linebacker has scholarship offers from top college football programs such as Texas A&M, Alabama, Tennessee, Penn State and Auburn.

Booker T. Washington’s standout player can dunk a basketball and has great athleticism. Joseph Phillips has speed, is an effective pass rusher from the edge, and isn’t afraid to let big special teams play in. The three-star prospect also plays at receiver and tight end. He has demonstrated his basketball skills as a receiver, highlighting incredible jumps and his catches of the ball.

Kirby Smart and Georgia Football have six commitments in the 2024 class.

Georgia has a historically good recruiting class at the linebacker position in the 2023 class.

Phillips announced on Twitter a scholarship offer from Georgia co-defensive coordinator and inside linebacker coach Glenn Schumann.
