Auburn — Three-star quarterback Hank Brown tackles Auburn football.
Brown, who received an offer from the Tigers and new coach Hugh Freese on Monday, played at Lipscomb Academy in Nashville, Tennessee. and has been tabbed as the 38th best recruit in his entire state.

Brown devoted himself to Liberty, but withdrew his commitment when Freeze left the Rebels to become Auburn’s next coach. Far has also been noticed.
“(Freeze and I) have been very close all this time,” Brown told The Montgomery Advertiser on Sunday. ”
Kent Austin, who reportedly sits somewhere on staff following Freeze to Auburn, is also someone Brown has known since his commitment to Flames.
“Kent is one of my favorite players,” Brown said. “He’s a very nice guy and obviously a great coach. He’s been with me all this time. I really want to work with him. I’m an expert.”
Austin was the co-offensive coordinator/quarterback coach during Malik Willis’ two years at Liberty. . He was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
The 6-foot-4, 195-pound Brown visited Auburn last week before hiring Philip Montgomery as the Tigers’ offensive coordinator, and the two were able to discuss Montgomery’s vision for the offense over the phone.
“I believe he fits very well on offense,” Brown said. I’ve worked with many different styles of QBs, from RG3 to Case Keenum.So I think he does a great job of adjusting based on quarterback talent.”
Brown will be the second quarterback to commit to Auburn this cycle and will be the second quarterback to commit to Miami Central’s three-star recruit Kiwan Jenkins. expressed an intention in November.
