It’s worth noting that the IPL franchise has already been fixed and mixed up with BCCI instructions this Sunday.

Given the growing problem of injuries, BCCI has directed the NCA to work with IPL franchises to monitor player fitness and manage the workload for IPL 2023. NCA will continue to stay in touch with the franchise. This means Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Burmah, Hardik Pandya, etc. are only ‘conditional NOCs’ who can participate in the tournament.

Dictat can very well see some star players rotating or resting during IPL 2023. Mumbai Indians captain and vice-captain Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumla make the list to name a few. Additionally, CSK will also keep an eye on his Deepak Chahar and Ravindra Jadeja. All four players are important to India’s World Cup 2023 goals. Even Hardik Pandya, captain of the Gujarat Titans, needs to take it easy.

“It’s annoying and not at the same time. It’s the players, not the franchise, that make the IPL the best. So it’s important to take care of them. That another Deepak Chahar or Shreyas Iyer miss the entire IPL.” They are important to the IPL brand, but at the same time their workload must be carefully managed to prevent them from getting hurt. may involve letting them rest and using them judiciously.” A franchise official told Insidesport.IN.

BCCI has announced the 20 finalists for the 2023 World Cup in October. To protect the player, BCCI asked his NCA to work with her IPL team on workload management. Apart from the Yo-Yo test, the BCCI requires all players returning after an injury layoff to take his Dexa test.

With the 2023 World Cup fast approaching, BCCI asked the NCA to resolve the issue. As directed, his NCA, headed by VVS Laxman, will liaise with all his IPL franchises and manage the player workload. High-risk players like Jadeja and Hardik Pandya have only been given conditional NOCs. Hardik himself missed several games last year with the Gujarat Titans to manage injuries.

BCCI hinted at plans ahead of the auction at last month’s IPL franchise meeting. The Indian Board has constantly monitored contracted and eligible players during the tournament. Although DIKTAT has not been formally passed, the NCA is believed to be involved in the process. ESPNCrinfo reports that NCA medical staff gave a detailed presentation on workload management.

Hardik and others, however, make the biggest gains in the IPL. Franchises are likely to protest in the same way given how important each game is in the playoff race, so teams may want to pay him 1000 to have their star player play in just 10 games. It can be argued that they did not pay the lakh. Jadeja from his CSK he got Rs 1.6 crore and Hardik Pandya from Gujarat his Titans he got Rs 1.5 crore.

Franchise officials added that the new ruling would be a double-edged sword for the team.

“We have not received any such order or recommendation from the BCCI. During our franchise meetings we were told to monitor the fitness of our players during the IPL. , we have learned that all fitness status will now be sent to the BCCI medical team and the NCA. We will have more clarity once we receive official information from the board.” A franchise official told Insidesport.

India has had an action-packed year ahead with the Border Gavaskar Trophy, the Asian Cup and over 50 World Cups ahead of them. The IPL will be held from April to May, with teams expected to play in a home-and-away format.
