Florida Gators bolstered defensive line Friday night after earning Memphis defensive tackle transfer commitment Camron Jackson.
After officially entering the Portal on Thursday, the Gators worked quickly to acquire arguably the most talented player in his position to enter the Portal this offseason. Jackson was scheduled to make an official visit to UF on January 4-6. all gator Reported hours after entering the portal.

He produced his statistically best season in 2022 with 41 tackles and 1 sack, but made little impact off the stat sheet. He consistently led double-teams and flashed to rush passers at a high level given enough opportunity with his staggering 6-foot-5, 340-pounder.
His only sack of the year came in impressive fashion during a Tigers Bowl game appearance against Utah State when Jackson stunted to the outside, pushed the outside and hit a home in the backfield.
That ability is something Florida consistently wants to get from its huge in-line defensive lineman.
