With bad weather reported ahead of Thursday’s slant between the Jets and Jaguars, many player props saw totals plummet a few days before kickoff. This does not mean that you should bet on the Under.
Below are three of our favorite bets to make at BetMGM, including two notable overs.
Jets vs. Jaguars ‘Thursday Night Football’ Player Prop Picks
Garrett Wilson over 56.5 receiving yards (-110, BetMGM)
Despite the Jets’ quarterback revolving door in recent weeks, there has been one constant in this unit through all the uncertainty: rookie receiver Garrett Wilson.

The Jets’ rising star shined all season long, ranking 18th in receiving yards per game (69), but really broke out in the second half of the season. He’s averaged 93.1 yards over his last seven games, and in six of those games he’s gained at least 75 yards.
Weather is clearly a factor here, but hopefully the Jets will find a way to get the ball into the hands of their best playmakers. There’s a slim chance to unleash Wilson — he’s hit at least 10 yards per target in six of his last seven games — so even if he exceeds this total, there’s still plenty of volume. Don’t be surprised if you don’t.

Devin Lloyd Over 5.5 total tackles (-135, BetMGM)
It’s like a gift to Lloyd, who has consistently maximized his chances at the heart of this Jaguar defence, and should once again post some flashy box-scoring numbers on Thursday.
The rookie linebacker played nearly every snap in his first nine games, recording at least six tackles all but two. He saw his role dwindle in favor of fellow rookie Chad Mooma, before making an effort of six tackles in just 22 snaps in Week 13. limited first-round picks to three tackles in the next two games.
Muma was then ruled out in week 14 with an injury, and Lloyd took his chance in a familiar starting role. He registered his eight tackles in that game, a week ago he finished with nine tackles, and in each of his two starts he recorded at least 67 snaps. Muma is still treating that ankle injury prior to this one, so Lloyd should have his fingerprints throughout Thursday’s contest as well.

Less than 0.5 interception for Trevor Lawrence (+110, BetMGM)
Lawrence has been very careful with football for over a month and has seen this prop play a big part in overs (-145) as he faces a much stingier Jets defense than Opportunity. I’m surprised.
Let’s start with the Jaguars quarterback who turned his season around with two interceptions in London. Since then, he’s thrown only 1 pick in his last six starts—a ball that was underthrown against the Cowboys last week scored 204 straight tries without a misfire.
New York’s pass defense ranks best in most metrics, but they rank only eighth (12) in interceptions, just one of their last five games. Week 12. I doubt Lawrence will give another gift on Thursday.
