Apart from the two Ishan Kishans, his grove work has impressed many. The wicketkeeper rarely allowed the ball past him. He also made a spectacular catch to force Challis Atalanka out of Umran Malik’s bowling.
Kishan’s efforts saw him cover much ground running behind him and signaled third man Hershall Patel not to come for the catch before performing a brilliant dive to collect the ball. The moment was an instant hit with fans, who took to social media to praise his Kishan for his athletic prowess.

“I think you’ve seen in catches like these calls were a problem when we played in Bangladesh,” Kishan said.
KL Rahul, who had been wicketkeeper for the Bangladesh ODI, made a similar attempt but proved to be the turning point for the first ODI as the ball flew out of his glove and India lost by one wicket.

“My plan was that if I went, I would do everything in my power to avoid confusion, so I called out. We practiced high catches in softball and all the hard work paid off,” he added.
The coach was very impressed with his ward’s efforts. Athalanca are playing well against us,” Dilip said. “The best thing I’ve seen from the outside as a defensive coach is that it’s very difficult to take catches while running that much. We all know your speed is excellent, so watch it.” It was wonderful.”
